Snowy wears this bandage until page 6; when he dives to rescue Tintin, the bandage is gone. Snowy's bandage miraculously reappears on page 8, when the doctor is trying to save him from drowning.

Throughout this adventure, Tintin's tie is red, yet for one moment when he meets Wang Jen-Ghie, his tie is black. Another interesting tidbit: here Tintin's face is "modern" style, although in the rest of the book, his face is drawn in the old style. Hergé probably redrew this part very late in the story, inserting the black tie color in error.
